The first club to be officially relegated from the Egyptian Premier League to the Second Division for the 2025-2026 season has been confirmed. Ismaily suffered a 2-1 defeat against Wadi Degla in the tenth round of the relegation group stage, sealing their drop to the lower tier. The loss leaves Ismaily rooted to the bottom of the 21-team table with 19 points from 27 matches. With only three games remaining in the season, even a perfect finish cannot save them from relegation.
Currently, the relegation zone also includes Al Ittihad Alexandria in 11th place with 29 points, Pharco in 12th with 22 points, and Haras El Hodoud in 13th with 22 points, all fighting to avoid the drop as the season enters its final three rounds.
