Coppa Italia
A ‘First Coppa’ for Como
After a 0-0 draw in the first leg, the first spot in the Italian Cup final will be decided in Milan

Cesc Fàbregas, in a match with Como.
The biggest match of Como 1907’s brilliant season could not have come at a worse time.
With two consecutive defeats, having slipped out of the Champions League zone they once occupied, and without a win since March 22, Cesc Fàbregas’s side now face a decisive clash in Milan. They are fighting for a place in the 2025-26 Coppa Italia final and still dreaming of the first title in their history.
After the goalless first leg, the Lombard club’s chances remain alive—but their opponent is formidable: Inter Milan.
On the verge of mathematically securing the Scudetto (they lead second-placed Napoli by 12 points with five games remaining), Inter are strong favorites to win the Coppa this season. Despite disappointments in the Champions League and Supercoppa, Chivu’s men arrive with the confirmed absence of the injured Lautaro Martínez.
This match is a rematch of the Serie A clash just eight days ago, which confirmed that the Nerazzurri would be crowned Italian champions this year. Chivu’s side came from 2-0 down at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia to win 3-4 in the Lombard derby. Beyond the 0-0 first leg, there is also the resounding 4-0 defeat Inter inflicted on Como back in December.
The winner of this tie will face either Atalanta or Lazio in the final in Rome, after the two sides drew 2-2 in the first leg.
