The Oshkosh and Fond du Lac Athlete of the Week poll for performances from May 4 through May 10 is open until noon on Friday, May 15. Fans can vote for local athletes competing in baseball, boys golf, girls soccer, softball, and boys and girls track and field.

To nominate a standout performer for future polls, email [email protected] with the athlete’s name, school, sport, and a brief explanation of why they deserve recognition. Nominations must be submitted by noon on Sunday to be considered for the next poll.

• Addison Braun, Waupun softball – Threw a five-inning no-hitter with seven strikeouts against Poynette.
• Hanna Faber, Lomira girls track and field – Won the 400 meters (1:04.39), 800 meters (2:44.29), and pole vault (8-6) at the Waupun Warrior Prison City Invite.
• Lizzie Fink, Valley Christian girls track and field – Took first in the 100-meter hurdles (19.74) and 300-meter hurdles (52.27) at the Lourdes Trailways Duals.
• Eli Joachim, Omro boys track and field – Won the 100 meters (11.24) and 200 meters (23.16) at the Omro Flyway Quad.
• Noah Muehrer, Oshkosh West baseball – Went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs in a win over Appleton East.
• Shay Otto, Ripon baseball – Went 4-for-4 with three doubles and two RBIs in a loss to West Bend West.
• Allie Schwarz, St. Mary’s Springs softball – Went 3-for-4 with a triple, double, and RBI in a loss to West Bend East.
• Madeline Schwefel, Winnebago Lutheran soccer – Scored three goals in a win over North Fond du Lac.
• Kamryn Stauffacher, Oshkosh West soccer – Recorded a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over Plymouth.
• Grant Wenzelow, Winneconne boys track and field – Won the 800 meters (1:57.30) and 1,600 meters (4:28.32) at the Lourdes Academy Knight Under the Lights.
• Mat Yaggie, Lourdes Academy boys track and field – Won the 110-meter hurdles (15.62) and 300-meter hurdles (41.33) at the Lourdes Academy Knight Under the Lights.
