Tokai University Shizuoka Shoyo will enter at the quarterfinal stage in an irregular bracket setup. This is due to their defensive anchor, defender Yu Iwashige (third year), being selected for the U-17 Japan national team and currently on tour for the AFC U-17 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia. Their first match will come after a break, with the quarterfinals and semifinals scheduled on consecutive days. Head coach Koji Ota remained focused, saying, “The opening game is always tough. We want to prepare well by playing practice matches outside the prefecture.”
